Community Diagnostic Access Initiative

Improving Healthcare Accessibility for Older Adults, Homebound Individuals, and Underserved Communities Through Mobile Diagnostic Support Services

Many older adults, homebound individuals, and medically vulnerable patients experience transportation, mobility, and healthcare accessibility barriers that can delay preventative care, chronic disease monitoring, and essential laboratory testing.

Secure Draw Mobile’s Community Diagnostic Access Initiative was created to help bridge those gaps by bringing professional mobile diagnostic support services directly to patients where they live, recover, and receive care.

Our initiative is focused on improving healthcare accessibility, supporting preventative care efforts, reducing barriers to diagnostic services, and helping individuals safely remain in their homes and communities while maintaining continuity of care.

Our Mission

The Community Diagnostic Access Initiative is dedicated to improving access to physician-ordered laboratory testing and mobile diagnostic support services for underserved, mobility-limited, and homebound populations throughout Los Angeles County and surrounding communities.

We believe healthcare accessibility should not be limited by transportation challenges, physical limitations, age, or socioeconomic barriers.

Community Challenges We Help Address

Many patients face significant obstacles when attempting to complete routine or preventative laboratory testing, including:

• Transportation limitations
• Mobility restrictions
• Chronic health conditions
• Caregiver limitations
• Delayed preventative care
• Missed follow-up testing
• Limited access to healthcare facilities
• Increased healthcare disparities among vulnerable populations

These barriers can contribute to delays in diagnosis, interruptions in treatment plans, reduced preventative care participation, and poorer health outcomes.

How We Help

Secure Draw Mobile provides mobile diagnostic support services that help improve healthcare accessibility by bringing specimen collection services directly to patients in:

• Private residences
• Assisted living communities
• Senior housing communities
• Board and care facilities
• Skilled nursing environments
• Community-based care settings

Our services support healthcare providers, care coordinators, caregivers, nonprofit organizations, and community health programs working to improve continuity of care for vulnerable populations.

Populations We Serve

Our initiative is designed to support:

• Older adults and seniors
• Homebound individuals
• Individuals with disabilities
• Patients with chronic health conditions
• Medically vulnerable populations
• Assisted living residents
• Caregiver-supported individuals
• Underserved communities

Who We Support

The Community Diagnostic Access Initiative is designed to support individuals and communities who may face barriers accessing routine and preventative healthcare services.

Why Healthcare Accessibility Matters

For many older adults, homebound individuals, and medically vulnerable patients, accessing routine laboratory services can be difficult due to transportation limitations, mobility challenges, chronic health conditions, or lack of caregiver support.

Missed or delayed laboratory testing can contribute to interruptions in treatment plans, delayed diagnoses, worsening chronic conditions, and reduced participation in preventative healthcare.

The Community Diagnostic Access Initiative was created to help reduce these barriers by improving access to
essential diagnostic support services directly within the communities we serve.

Our goal is to help ensure individuals can access healthcare services safely, conveniently, and with dignity regardless of physical, transportation, or healthcare accessibility challenges.

Why Diagnostic Access Matters

Millions of older adults and mobility-limited individuals face barriers accessing preventative healthcare services due to transportation limitations, physical disabilities, and healthcare accessibility challenges.

Delayed laboratory testing can contribute to interruptions in care, delayed diagnoses, worsening chronic conditions, and reduced preventative healthcare participation.

The Community Diagnostic Access Initiative is focused on creating measurable healthcare impact by helping to:

• Increase compliance with physician-ordered laboratory testing
